The Study Sync is a collaborative study-plan management platform that helps students create, organize, and track study plans across multiple resource types — YouTube videos, PDFs, articles, and custom links — all in one organized place.
Built with Next.js, React, MongoDB, and Tailwind CSS, it features an instance-based progress system with dual tracking metrics (resource-based and time-based), real-time progress updates, and deadline-driven email reminders via Nodemailer. It integrates the YouTube Data API v3 to auto-fetch video and playlist metadata, and Firebase Authentication with MongoDB for secure, scalable user management.
